This poster was designed as a moral boosting tool showing our great Fire Dept. work force. This piece was a bit of a time consuming project as it was difficult pulling all of the elements together. Each firefighter was pictured separately and other elements added from our asset collection. Lighting was everything for this and we waited until the sun/clouds created the perfect lighting with the saturation keyed up and shadowing added, it created the perfect smoky, fire lit effect. Posterizing and some blurring was used as well as some tinting/toning done to match the smoky backdrop.
