Commanding Officer Capt. Kevin P. Meyers, Command Master Chief Robyn Pierce, and Capt. Henry F. Casey of USS Tripoli (LHA 7) Pre-Commissioning Unit (PCU) meet with members of the local Pensacola, Fla. Marine Corps League during a commissioning event in Pensacola on Aug. 23, 2018. Tripoli, partnered with local community supporters, came together in order to officially announce Pensacola as the future sight for USS Tripoli's commissioning in late 2019.
