    Royal Thai Army Master Sgt. Charoen Srinonyang, left, an explosive ordnance team leader with Humanitarian Mine Action Unit 3, and U.S. Marine Corps Staff Sgt. Gabriel T. Green, a platoon sergeant with 9th Engineer Support Battalion, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, assist a Royal Thai Soldier with proper employment of a Vallon VMH3CS metal detector during a technical and non-technical survey training event at the Charumanee Training Field in Ratchaburi, Kingdom of Thailand, Dec. 18, 2018. Service members with the Royal Thai Armed Forces work with U.S. Marine Corps explosive ordnance disposal technicians, engineers and corpsmen with 9th ESB to build up the Thai military’s demining capabilities and supplemental combat casualty care skills. The Marine Corps conducts multiple Humanitarian Mine Action training packages with partner nations annually, instructing military students on the tactics, techniques and procedures for locating, removing and disposing of unexploded ordnance.
