A U.S. Navy Landing Craft Utility ferries 3rd Marine Landing Group Marines and equipment from USS Tortuga to White Beach Naval Facility on Okinawa Dec. 9. More than 200 Marines and sailors with the MLG deployed aboard Tortuga Nov. 18 to provide support and assistance to the flood-relief operations in Thailand. The 3rd MLG is part of III Marine Expeditionary Force.
