Brig. Gen. Charles Chiarotti, Marine Forces Europe, deputy commanding general, greets Bulgarian Col. Lavor Mateev, chief of Joint Facilities & Training Department, Ministry of Defense, in his office at U.S. Army Garrison Stuttgart's Panzer Kaserne, Dec. 14. The two leaders discussed plans and expectations for the upcoming Black Sea Rotational Force operations in March 2012. Currently, there are 19 nations involved in BSRF-12, with 71 training events planned throughout the Black Sea, Balkan and Caucasus regions.
