U.S. Marines with Echo Company and the Headquarters and Service Co., 2nd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment motor transport platoon unload pallets of water from a truck during a re-supply mission here, Dec. 13. Marines with the 2/6 motor transport platoon are responsible for fueling the fight by delivering over 28,000 gallons of water, 11,000 gallons of fuel and other various resources every week, to outposts in their 800 square kilometer area of operations.
