Ken Jankowski, Fort Campbell High School social studies and foreign language teacher (right) discussed the 21st century school concepts of Fort Campbell’s newest Department of Defense Education Activity school with Leah Esper, wife of Secretary of the Army Mark T. Esper, July 10, 2018, during her visit to Fort Campbell, Kentucky. The recently completed, $59 million, 184,000-square-foot, two-story facility for ninth through 12th grade students is energy efficient and environmentally sustainable. In May 2015 Walsh Federal began construction of the school that is considered to be a DoDEA model. (U.S. Army photo by Maria Rice McClure, Fort Campbell Courier/Fort Campbell Public Affairs)
