A massive model train exhibit featuring S gauge trains, was on display inside the building located at 150 West Main Street in Downtown Norfolk; across the street from the Hampton Roads Naval Museum. The free exhibit was operational during the holiday season, and attracted scores of visitors. It featured S gauge model trains in a variety of configurations, including small scale replicas of military transport trains and dioramas; the exhibit was placed by the non-profit Atlantic Coast S gaugers. The Atlantic Coast S Gaugers is a non-profit model train club focusing on the American Flyer S Gauge and newer S gauge manufactures. Members enjoy home layouts, collecting model trains, showcasing their models at community functions, and interacting with members of the public regarding the fun and engaging hobby.
