Pvt. Evan Allen Dancer, with the Alaska Army National Guard, is all smiles as Santa Claus hands gifts to Destiny Hawley and her brother Justin Hawley of Scipio, Ind., at the National Guard's 3rd Annual Operation Christmas Blessing at the Muscatatuck Urban Training Center in Butlerville, Ind., Monday, Dec. 12, 2011. Dancer sponsored the Hawley children at the event, purchased gifts and got to know them a little during the evening. The event included a traditional Christmas feast, arts and crafts booths, carol sing-alongs and holiday music. Operation Christmas Blessing is an annual program hosted for local children and their families who are struggling to make ends meet.
