Capt. Daniel Johnson, a health service administration officer assigned to Winn Army Community Hospital, and the officer-in-charge of the medical Soldier Readiness Processing mission at Mower Processing Center on Fort Stewart, Georgia, meets with members of his team and the 7226th Medical Support Unit on Dec. 13, to discuss the day’s operational flow.
Functionally aligned to U.S. Army Medical Command, ARMEDCOM is uniquely capable of simultaneously providing military hospital and clinic expansion, augmentation, blood donor services, dental and veterinary services while remaining postured to provide assistance to civil authorities during an emergency or disaster. Medical personnel from Winn Army Community Hospital were key to ensuring ARMEDCOM units were equipped and ready to execute their training mission at Fort Stewart, Georgia.
