Pvt. Michael Crowder, a soldier with Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry, works on a Canadian Light Armored Vehicle during Arctic Anvil 19-01. The 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division, U.S. Army Alaska, integrated an infantry company from 1st Battalion, PPCLI to replicate a near-peer opposition force, and create a realistic decisive action environment for 1st Stryker Brigade, 25th Infantry Division. Arctic Anvil is a joint, multi-national, force-on-force training exercise designed to provide the 1st Stryker Brigade a tough, realistic training event that validates their ability to fight and win as a combined arms team in preparation for their rotation at the Army's National Training Center in California early next year.
