Welcoming more than 35,000 guests from the host nation into FLEACT Yokosuka, the open base event attracted visitors from the Yokosuka area and as far away as Hokkaido Prefecture. FLEACT Yokosuka provides, maintains, and operates base facilities and services in support of the 7th Fleet's forward-deployed naval forces, 71 tenant commands, and more than 27,000 military and civilian personnel.
