The colors are raised and lowered to half staff, Nov. 8, 2018, during the Golden West College Veterans Day Celebration in Huntington Beach, California. The event honored student veterans and those from surrounding communities. The California Army National Guard's 40th Infantry Division Band from nearby Joint Forces Training Base, Los Alamitos, performed patriotic music during the event.
