U.S. Army Staff Sgt. David Brian of the California National Guard's 9th Civil Support Team, uses an identifinder to detect gamma neutrons and a multi-ray for atmosphere monitoring along the Huntington Beach Pier as the sun rises, Oct. 21, 2018, to start the final day of the Great Pacific Airshow in Huntington Beach, California. The team worked in support of the Orange County Sheriff's Department Bomb Squad to provide monitoring for chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear weapons throughout the three-day air show, which drew hundreds of thousands of people to the Southern California oceanfront.
