A quarter placed alongside a hummingbird nest puts the size of the nest in perspective in Sonoma, California, March 8, 2018, five months after wildfires destroyed thousands of homes. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers worked under the direction of the Federal Emergency Management Agency and in partnership with the California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services to remove nearly two million tons of debris.
