ARABIAN SEA (Dec. 31, 2018) Ship’s Boatswain, Chief Warrant Officer Nathan McQuown, monitors the approach of a small boat from the port boat deck of Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Essex (LHD 2) during a deployment of the Essex Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU).
