U.S. Navy Aviation Structural Mechanic 2nd Class Elizabeth Manrique, from El Paso, Texas, inspects an MH-60R Sea Hawk, assigned to Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM 71), aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS Stockdale (DDG 106) in the North Arabian Sea, Jan. 3, 2019. The Stockdale is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and the Pacific through the western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
