A soldier with the 230th Sustainment Brigade prepares his mine resistant ambush protected vehicle prior to departing into Iraq to conduct the final retrograde convoy missions in support of Operation New Dawn. The Tennessee Army National Guard brigade held the responsibility of the sustainment mission from Kuwait into Iraq and in turn was responsible for coordinating convoy allocations, security and movement throughout the country in support of the responsible withdrawal of U.S. forces from Iraq by the end of 2011.
