Friends and families of sailors aboard the Los Angeles-class attack submarine USS Asheville gather on the pier at Naval Base Point Loma to welcome home its crew after a four-month deployment to the U.S. 4th Fleet area of responsibility. Asheville traversed more than 20,000 nautical miles conducting counter narcotics trafficking operations.
