Members of the U.S. and Philippine Air Forces unload a U.S Air Force C-17 Globemaster III, before the start of the Bilateral Air Contingent Exchange-Philippines (BACE-P) at Cesar Basa Air Base, Philippines, Jan. 15, 2019. The exchange is the seventh iteration of the U.S.-Philippine Air Contingent, established by U.S. Indo-Pacific Command and executed by Headquarters Pacific Air Forces. These exchanges promote interoperability, build upon the foundation of a strong U.S.-Philippines’ alliance, and reaffirm the U.S. commitment to the Indo-Pacific region.
