Lt. Gen. Vincent K. Brooks, Third Army/ARCENT commanding general and native of Alexandria, Va., serves Christmas meals to Sgt. 1st Class Elizabeth S. Fernandez-Javier, 3rd Medical Command (Deployment Service), operations and training non-commissioned officer in charge and Toa Alta, Puerto Rico, native, along with other service members and civilians at the Zone 2 dining facility here Dec. 25. Senior leaders serving meals to troops is a time honored tradition throughout the U.S. military. With traditions like this Third Army is building esprit-de-corps, and uplifting the spirits of all Servicemembers and civilians that could not be home for the holidays. Third Army will continue to inspire, educate and inform all service members and civilians during the holiday season.
