The morning sun rises above Camp Virginia, Kuwait, Dec. 16, 2011 as the base gets ready to accept the final convoys out of Iraq. During the drawdown phase of the war, Camp Virginia played a significant role as staging point for soldiers leaving Iraq and for convoy escort teams who went in to secure thousands of semi-trucks as they transported supplies and equipment out of the country.
