The rifle team fires volleys in honor of Sgt. Eric Morgen Holke during a memorial ceremony for him. Holke died July 15 while serving as a gunner providing convoy security for a combat sustainment mission south of An Nasariyah, Muthanna province, Iraq. Holke was promoted posthumously to sergeant. He was assigned to 1st Battalion, 160th Infantry Regiment, 640th Sustainment Brigade. All the Soldiers in attendance at Holke's memorial service are part of the Third Army (Forward) deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
