MEDITERRANEAN SEA (Jan. 21, 2019) Marines with the Battalion Landing Team, 1st Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, fire from behind cover while practicing immediate action drills on the flight-deck of the USS Arlington (LPD 24), in the Mediterranean Sea, Jan. 21, 2019. The USS Arlington is making a scheduled deployment as part of the 22nd MEU and the Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group, in support of maritime security operations, crisis response and theatre security cooperation, while also providing a forward Naval and Marine presence.
