Soldiers from 1st Battalion, 5th Cavalry Regiment participate in a battalion force-on-force training exercise Jan. 24 on the ranges of Fort Hood as part of Pegasus Forge IV. They were supported by AH64 attack helicopters from the 1st Air Cavalry Brigade. All of the 1st Cavalry Division's 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team "BlackJack" is participating in the exercise in preparation for their rotation at the Nation Training Center later this Spring and any subsequent follow on missions.
