Col. Mark Hart, brigade commander of the Tennessee Army National Guard’s 230th Sustainment Brigade, holds his unit’s colors still as Command Sgt. Maj. Stanley Massengale, the 230th command sergeant major, pulls the cover over the flag. The 230th SB cased their colors during the transfer of authority ceremony here Dec. 27 before the North Carolina National Guard’s 113th Sustainment Brigade unfurled their colors, therefore taking command as the sustainment brigade here.
