Florida National Guard Pfc. Christian Alderman, a combat engineer from 870th Engineer (Sapper) Company in Crestview, Florida, is qualifying on his M4 carbine during the 83rd Troop Command’s Best Warrior Competition 2019, Camp Blanding, Florida, Jan. 26, 2019. Candidates will be evaluated and scored on road march, individual weapons qualification, Army warrior tasks (land navigation, communication, Nuclear-biological-chemical, individual weapons), a general knowledge test, Army physical fitness test (APFT) and personal appearance to the board members who will select the winning noncommissioned officer and soldier.
