Closely watches as Soldiers assigned to Alpha Company, 4-17 Infantry Battalion, 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, engage 600 meter targets using the Squad Designated Marksman Rifle (SDM-R), Jan. 25. The SDM-R is a new weapon still in the testing phase of development.
