The Puerto Rico National Guard celebrated a promotion ceremony at the PRNG Joint Force Headquarters Facilities in San Juan, Puerto Rico, January 25. Promoted was: Lt. Col. Alberto Irizarry to the rank of Colonel in a ceremony attended by friends, family members and military personnel. The Adjutant General of Puerto Rico, Brig. Gen. Isabelo Rivera, was present to take The Oath of Office from Irizarry while officializing the event along with his staff. Col. Irizarry has served the PRNG for 29 years and is currently the Puerto Rico National Guard’s Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations. (National Guard photos by Mr. Waldemar Rivera, PRNG-PAO/Released)
