Sgt. Lucas Tester, a motor transportation mechanic, and Cpl. Jaeheon Kim, an engineer equipment mechanic, both with Combat Logistics Battalion 31, sit aboard a landing craft during a simulated Humanitarian Assistance-Disaster Relief mission, Philippine Sea, Jan. 28, 2019. Tester, a native of Marchville, North Carolina, graduated from Forrest Hills High School in June 2014 before enlisting in February 2016. Kim, from Buford, Georgia, was born in South Korea; he graduated from Millcreek High School in April 2016 before enlisting in June 2013. CLB-31 provides security, logistics transportation, and HADR support as the Logistics Combat Element for the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit.
