190131-N-SA412-0052 PHILIPPINE SEA (Jan. 31, 2019) -- Aviation Machinist's Mate 2nd Class Christian Izquierdo, from Las Vegas, and Aviation Electronics Technician 3rd Class Timothy Payabyab, from San Francisco, assigned to Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 25, perform tail rotor maintenance on an MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter in the hangar bay of the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1). Wasp, flagship of Wasp Amphibious Ready Group, with embarked 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, is operating in the Indo-Pacific region to enhance interoperability with partners and serve as a ready-response force for any type of contingency.
