U.S. Army Corps of Engineers contractors began leaner and hanger removal in Dougherty County, Georgia, Jan. 30. Any tree leaning more than 30 degrees, or hanger limb, that is a risk to public safety, has been identified and will be removed. The Corps is pushing forward in partnership with local, state, and federal agencies in the support of the people affected by the impacts of Hurricane Michael.
