    Pfc. David Brown rescued an injured man from an overturned vehicle December 22, 2018 on Hayden Creek Road, Idaho. Brown, a Coeur d’Alene native, provided first aid to the man after he was partially ejected and pinned by his truck when it slid over an embankment on the unimproved road. Brown is currently a motor transport operator with 3rd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion based at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, California.
