Benning Potoa'e, a defensive end for the Lakes High School Lancers varsity football team and 18-year-old native of DuPont, Washington was recently selected for the 2015 Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl and received his jersey from Seattle-area Marines at Lakes High School in Lakewood, Washington Dec. 16, 2014. Potoa'e is among approximately 100 student athletes from across the nation selected to participate in the game at the StubHub Center in Carson, Calif., Jan. 4, 2015. He joins Marysville-Pilchuck High School's Austin Joyner and West Valley High School's Shane Lemieux as the 2015 selectees from Washington State. Also available in high definition. SEATTLE, Wash. -- Angel Beier, Kellogg High School student and Marine Corps Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (JROTC) cadet, will attend the Marine Corps 2018 Summer Leadership and Character Development Academy (SLCDA) in July 16-23 at Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia. Beier earned one of the vaunted 200 seats in the course through her academic excellence and willingness to help those around her.
