Sgt. 1st Class Dean Christenson from Spring Valley, Minn., deployed to Camp Virginia, Kuwait, with HHC 1-194 CAB as the Battalion Medical non-commissioned officer in charge. Christenson is demonstrating how to check the blood pressure of a patient on 1st Lt. Jolene Carlson. Carlson is from Belle Plaine, Minn., and deployed with HHC 134th BSB to Camp Virginia, Kuwait, early this July. Christenson is assisting Carlson with a First Responder Course Carlson offered to the soldiers stationed at Camp Virginia, Kuwait.
