190202-N-RI884-1099 PHILIPPINE SEA (Feb. 2, 2019) An MH-60S Seahawk helicopter, assigned to the "Island Knights" of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 25, approaches the amphibious assault ship Wasp (LHD 1) during flight operations. Wasp, flagship of the Wasp Amphibious Ready Group, with embarked 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, is operating in the Indo-Pacific region to enhance interoperability with partners and serve as a ready-response force for any type of contingency.
