Soldiers assigned to the 297th Inland Cargo Transfer Company store concertina wire inside containers in preparation for their relocation in Nogales, Ariz., Feb.1. The 297th Inland Cargo Transfer Company moved 15 shipping containers by forklift from the Deconcini Port of Entry in Nogales, Arizona to a nearby U.S. Customs Border Protection staging area. The CBP assumed responsibility and accountability of the containers for future port hardening. The Department of Defense has deployed units across the Southwest Border at the request of U.S. Customs and Border Protection and is providing logistical, engineering, and force protection functions.
