U.S. Navy Steelworker 3rd Class Hayleigh Smith welds together two steel beams during construction of classrooms at Ban Man Kroi School, Rayong, Thailand, Feb. 3, 2019. The U.S. Navy and Royal Thai Navy worked together to give back to the local community in efforts to strengthen military-to-military bond. Exercise Cobra Gold 19 emphasizes coordination on civic action, such as humanitarian assistance and disaster relief events, developing interoperability and unity of action in crisis contingencies.
