This is a Streamside Salamander found during a field exercise for Special Status Species at J. Percy Priest Lake in Nashville, Tenn., Jan. 30, 2019 during a class for U.S. Army Corps of Engineers employees that focuses on environmental stewardship. Zoologists from the Tennessee Natural Heritage Program with the Department of Environment and Conservation led this exercise. (USACE photo)
