NAVAL SUPPORT ACTIVITY BAHRAIN (Feb. 7, 2019) U.S. Marine Staff Sgt. Samantha Shepherd, Naval Amphibious Force, Task Force 51/5th Marine Expeditionary Brigade’s Headquarters Company gunnery sergeant, registers for the annual Morale, Welfare and Recreation Bahrain Color Run. The event promoted awareness for causes such as sexual assault prevention, domestic violence, breast cancer, animal cruelty and heart health; with each color used to represent a different cause. TF 51/5 is entrusted with rapidly aggregating crisis response capabilities and positioning Navy and Marine Corps forces throughout the CENTCOM area of responsibility to ensure command and control of forces at sea, from the sea and ashore.
