Army ROTC Cadet Addison Clincy, a North Carolina State University senior and member of the 883rd Engineer Company (Sapper), a Winston-Salem native, sets a charge on a tree for an abatis demolition at Fort Bragg, N.C., Jan. 7, 2012. Abatis demolitions demolish the trees so that the trunk of the tree is left standing and the top falls to block an enemy's passage.
