SAN DIEGO (February 9, 2019) Mass Communication Specialist 1st Class Marie Montez, assigned to Navy Reserve Navy Public Affairs Support Element West, picks up her new service dress blue jumper uniform Feb. 9 from Logistics Specialist Seaman Diego Gajardo, assigned to Navy Operational Support Center North Island, during drill weekend on Naval Air Station North Island. The new male and female uniform for E1 to E6 was issued to recruits in basic training starting in 2016 with a mandatory issue and wear date for all Sailors by Jan. 1, 2020.
