Poole, an optics technician with Combat Logistics Battalion 453, 4th Marine Logistics Group, uses a biometric fingerprint scanner made by Reserve Marines at an innovation cell located within their Home Training Center in San Jose, Calif., Feb. 09, 2019. Made from three dimensional printed parts and repurposed electrical components, this biometric fingerprint scanner is a cost efficient alternative for security and better enhances readiness for the Marine Corps.
