Recruits with Delta Company, 1st Recruit Training Battalion, take gear accountability during a rifle issue at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Feb. 11. Recruits must learn the basic Marine Corps marksmanship skills and qualify with the M16-A4 Service Rifle, in order to graduate from recruit training. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited form the Western Recruiting Region are trained aboard MCRD San Diego. Delta Company is scheduled to graduate May 3.
