Spc. Jeremy P. Linville, a cavalry scout with Troop B, 4th Squadron, 73rd Cavalry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, mans his MK-19 grenade launcher while out on a patrol July 17 during Operation Spinas in the Gelan District, Ghazni province, Afghanistan. Linville recently re-enlisted for six years, a decision he says is largely based on his family.
