The family of Sgt. Baron Carwyle, of Pontotoc, anxiously wait for him debark from the plane Feb. 18, 2019 at Thompson Field in Flowood. Carwyle, with the 2d Battalion, 114th Field Artillery Regiment, was among approximately 250 Soldiers of the Mississippi Army National Guard’s 155th Armored Brigade Combat Team serving in Kuwait in support of Operation Spartan Shield since their mobilization in April 2018.
