Airmen assigned to the United States Air Force Air Demonstration Squadron "Thunderbirds" visit cadets at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University on Feb. 13, 2019, at Daytona Beach, FL. While on the road for airshows or flyovers, the Thunderbirds often visit local schools and hospitals to inspire the youth and cheer up those going through tough times. Since 1953, the Thunderbirds team has served as America’s premier air demonstration squadron, entrusted with the vital mission to recruit, retain and inspire past, present and future Airmen.
