underneath the KC-46A Pegasus before taxi Feb. 21, 2019, at McConnell Air Force Base, Kan. McConnell
has taken various steps toward operationally flying the new aircraft, including facility improvements
holding KC-46 simulators and a fuselage trainer. After all the procedures in the familiarization period are
