190220-N-IK388-0150 NORFOLK (Feb. 20, 2019) Operations Specialist 3rd Class Warren Maxwell, assigned to Arleigh Burke-class destroyer USS Truxtun (DDG 103), demonstrates the operational wearability of the flame-resistant, two-piece organizational clothing prototype navy blue variant with a float coat. U.S. Fleet Forces Command will conduct a second test of the prototype later this year. The goal of the initiative is to provide a no-cost, safe, and comfortable organizational clothing option to the improved, flame-resistant variant (IFRV) coverall.
