U.S. Marines with Echo Company, 2nd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, are being transported in CH-53 cargo helicopters in order to conduct immediate action drills during Lava Viper in Pohakuloa Training Area, Hawaii, Jan. 19, 2012. Lava Viper is a battalion-level combined-arms training exercise to better prepare Marines for upcoming deployments.
